About me…before the sneaky “C”
I was diagnosed with stage I infiltrating ductal carcinoma on June 12,
2008. I am otherwise absurdly healthy, and somewhat neurotic about
making sure most of my diet is organic, most of my environment is
“green.”
My diagnosis at first made me wonder if anyone is safe. On
the brighter side, maybe if I hadn't been so careful, I may have gotten
it sooner and worse.
During this detour in my life, writing, collage
and gardening kept me centered and connected. They have been the best
vehicles to carry me to the heights and depths of this journey.
I
believe that every challenge in our life presents an opportunity to
learn and help others who follow. This belief kept my heart and mind
open and led to the creation of Titillating Turbans, which I hope will
bring joy to women throughout the world.
I invite you to visit my blog
and allow me to share the hope and inspiration that carried me through.
Welcome!
